JOIN OUR TEAM!

The Key is a new communications agency, looking to expand its team of intellectually curious, hard-working folks who like to tell stories, work with smart people, and be a part of something bigger. This is a rare opportunity to help create a culture of excellence, and to build the job you want. You’ll work directly with the founders on an array of clients, and contribute to the growth and success of an emerging brand.

You should love words and their power; consume media and think about the process from thought to story; work independently and also appreciate feedback and direction. We have full lives, and our work is a rich part of that fullness, but doesn't rule.

OPENINGS

The Apprenticeship

Because we’re starting from scratch, the value of traditional agency titles is null. Rather, we think of ourselves as master craftspeople helping to bring up the next in line. We are storytellers, builders, partners, creators - and whomever joins as an apprentice will get to learn and mold her/his own unique blend of skills to round out a whole value is greater than the sum of its parts.

Like any training program, there are compulsories that help each person find strength or specialization. We all do them. The sprints for an athlete, the scales for a musician, that’s the elements required to get field or stage time, and proficiency in these tasks improves performance for the individual and the group.
