Tell us a little bit about your background before joining The Key team.
I’ve taken my time getting to know what I enjoy, so I could make sure that whatever I chose to do professionally would make me happy and would offer a challenging work environment for me to make a living.
Most of my background is in non-profit event coordination as Volunteer Coordinator, Grassroots Event Coordinator, and Public Relations Consulting for Grassroots Event Coordinators. I’ve worked in technical theater with the City of Sunnyvale, I was Project Associate with Golden State Renewable Energy where we were citing solar projects on contaminated lands to provide energy for local Community Choice Aggregators (that’s a mouthful), but I’ve also put in my fair share of time with minimum wage jobs.
The same core ideas carry through all of my favorite work experiences, and those include community engagement, working on a tight-knit team, and tons of multi-tasking. That is how I decided to get my B.A. in Communications and Public Relations from Notre Dame de Namur University, and that’s why I was so excited to find The Key.
Describe your work style in five words.

What are your favorite kinds of projects to tackle?
I love projects with community outreach, I enjoy working with community groups to create positive experiences in not so positive situations. And I love deadlines.
What’s your proudest moment at work?
At the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, I was hired at 17 years old to recruit, train, organize, and manage 300 volunteers over 3 months for the Light the Night events in Silicon Valley. I crushed it, and it was THE most thrilling work experience I’ve ever had.
What makes you the most excited to be at The Key?
I love to learn and there is so much to learn from this incredible team of women. They really know how to support your interests and make sure you are on your way to achieving not only your professional, but your personal goals.
