Tell us a little bit about your background before joining The Key team.
I’m originally from Michigan, but moved to Georgia for college. I graduated from Columbus State University with a BA in Communication and a certificate in Servant Leadership. Now, I’m finishing up grad school at Auburn University, where my focus is on PR as it relates to diversity and service to others.
Describe your work style in five words.
Collaborative, talkative, flexible, curious, consistent.
What are your favorite kinds of projects to tackle?
I enjoy projects that focus on philanthropy, social impact, and engaging with others. I also like projects that challenge my strategic thinking skills.
What’s your proudest moment at work (here or elsewhere)?
I’m most proud of my master’s thesis. I’m looking at how Black, Indigenous and women of color who work in PR perceive their workplaces’ external diversity statements. I hope to be able to do more research like this later on too!
What makes you the most excited to be at The Key?
I’m most excited about the focus on diversity and other values that are similar to my own. It is refreshing to have the opportunity to work with likeminded people! I’m also excited to learn more about the PR industry!
